Ashley Matita - Owner & Principal Agent
Ashley is our agency owner and is a licensed 2-20 agent. She is a 2007 graduate of The University of Florida. Prior to being in insurance, she spent 10 years in the field of education and was the Athletic Director at Cape Coral High School. Ashley is an avid tennis player, loves animals, enjoys spending time with her husband and family, and serving at her church and within the community. Her mission at Sunrise Insurance has always been to serve our clients, partners, and community with excellence.
Laurie John - VP Of Customer Service
Laurie has been with Sunrise Insurance since 2021 and is a licensed customer service representative. She is from the Midwest (St. Louis area) but moved to SWFL from Anchorage, Alaska. Growing up in the Midwest gave her a strong work ethic. One of her best attributes is service above self, she takes pride focusing on customers, their needs and providing excellent customer service. With 35 years of administrative support in a wide array of industries that include aviation, hospitality, travel planning, procurement and oil and gas has helped teach her to pay attention to all the details in industries that change rapidly such as the insurance business.
Corey Allen - Agent
Corey is a licensed 2-20 and 2-15 agent. He was born and raised in Salem, OR before migrating down to The Sunshine State in 2002. From age 18-34, he moved through the ranks in the service industry while also embarking on several different business ventures. Finally, in the summer of 2020, he found his calling in insurance. Being able to help families protect the people and things they care about most is something he takes enormous pride in. When he's not at the office, you'll find him either out on his jet ski or snowboarding out west.
Jessica Rambo-Frields - Customer Service Representative
Jessica was born in Detroit and grew up in England. Since 2002, she has lived in Arizona, Puerto Rico, and Florida, experiences that have shaped her adaptability and people-first approach. With a background in Human Resources and Hospitality, Jessica brings strong communication skills, empathy, and attention to detail to her role. She is dedicated to helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident when navigating their insurance needs.
Outside of work, Jessica loves animals, enjoys reading, fishing, and traveling, and believes that family always comes first. Her genuine care for others carries through in everything she does—both professionally and personally.
Paolo Matita - Agent
With 25+ years of sales and customer service experience, Paolo sets the bar with his level of dedication and the attention to detail that he brings each day. Paolo transitioned to the insurance industry in 2017 after four years as a licensed realtor. His experience provides an advantage in understanding and executing your insurance needs. Paolo takes pride in ensuring all of his clients experience nothing short of the very best. In his free time, Paolo likes to spend time outdoors with his family and exploring new dog parks with their dog, Jax.
Stacey Ross - Marketing/Admin Assistant
Stacey has a strong passion for supporting leadership vision and helping Sunrise Insurance operate smoothly and effectively. With a background in both marketing strategy and administrative support, Stacey brings a balanced blend of organization, creativity, and attention to detail to her role at Sunrise.
She holds a degree in Marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University and has previous experience working at an investment bank, where she served as a Marketing Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. Outside of work, she is a proud mother of three daughters and enjoys home decorating, serving at her church and spending quality time with her husband and family at the beach.

Ella graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2015 and has been working in the insurance industry since 2018. Originally born in the United Kingdom, she has lived in Southwest Florida since 2001 and is proud to call the area home. Ella brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to excellence in helping clients understand their coverage options and choose the protection that best fits their needs. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Roxanne Colon - Customer Service Representative
Roxanne was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Connecticut before moving to Florida at the age of 14. She quickly fell in love with the Sunshine State and doesn’t plan on leaving anytime soon. Roxanne brings over 10 years of experience in the customer service industry, with the last three years focused in a front office role where she developed strong organizational and communication skills. She values clear communication, attention to detail, and creating an environment where clients feel comfortable and well cared for. Outside of work, Roxanne enjoys spending time in nature and serving at her church.
